Cookie Notice

Last updated October 28, 2026

Mocha uses one strictly necessary cookie and a few browser preferences. There is no advertising or analytics tracking.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Related technologies, such as local storage, store data in the browser without sending it with every request.

2. Cookies we set

  • Sign-in session (strictly necessary). Set when you sign in. It keeps you signed in and lets the server verify your session. It is removed when you sign out or when the session expires. You cannot turn it off while using the service.

We do not set any other cookies.

3. Browser preferences

These are stored in local storage on your device, not as cookies:

  • whether the sidebar is collapsed;
  • whether you dismissed the AI disclosure notice;
  • an in-progress focus timer.

They stay on your device, are not used for tracking, and are removed when you clear site data.

4. What we do not use

No analytics, no advertising or retargeting, no social media pixels, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party cookies.

5. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking the sign-in cookie prevents you from staying signed in, so parts of Mocha will not work. Clearing site data resets the preferences above.

6. Signals

Because we do not track you across sites, there is nothing for Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals to opt out of.

7. Changes and contact
